Being a very creative person, my brain is always focused on the look of things. Have you ever noticed how Scandinavian or Eastern European style is always so fresh, modern, but has a sense of home to it? Even if it's just a bunch of random worn-in chairs thrown together, somehow it always looks amazing. Here are a few of my favourite rooms. I love how the white walls keep everything fresh, but with punches of colour and luxurious leathers and soft fabrics. On such a gloomy day in the city, this brightens my mood!

our posts compliment each other very nicely! I think a green Eames chair would look cool in the space, with all the white and soft colours. You guys should totally get one for your new place!
gorgeous post sandi!!! i totally LOVE this look...and this post is sooo well timed!!! we are actually just refinishing a mid century danish style dining table, chairs and a sideboard that we found on kijiji a month ago (yikes, it's sooo much work)...i love that modern retro vibe....and i love it with all the white especially on the floors!!
