This week was the Toronto International Film Festival. So many stars out and about in the city, and when you work for a magazine, sometimes you score! This past tuesday I had the pleasure of getting all dressed up for a celebration of the opening of the film Janie Jones. There was not only free drinks, {BONUS!} but a chance to hear some fantastic performances by one of my favourite bands, Patrick Watson, and also a few cast members {Abigail Breslin, Allessandro Nivola & Gemma Hayes} of the film, at the Horseshoe. How cute is Abigail Breslen? And her voice was so great! All in all it was a very successful evening and made my week for sure. And after a big and busy week, I am thrilled to be resting at home.
