I know a lot of my designer friends may hate me for a moment today, but hear me out. When my friend Evan sent me this link about a font to rival Helvetica to the bitter end, I had to check it out. It made me think, when was the last time I actually used Helvetica? It's the font of all fonts, the godfather if you will. Every designer has used it, and has definitely made an impact in the design industry. But do I feel lost without it? I realized I hadn't even thought of using it in a project for years now, and welcome this new rival, with slight alterations to the x-height and curves.
