I wish I may, wish I might

Live in this house! Halloween makes your imagination come alive and I spotted this paper crafted castle just in time. How cool is this? Designed by Wataru Itou in Tokyo, this complete city has electrical lights and a train! See more here.

fearful friday

It's the night before, the night before halloween and I can feel the ghostly ghouls in the air! On my way to work I spotted a few angel wings and cat ears too as people were getting into the halloween spirit. What are you going to be for halloween?

style & Steichen

Last night my two girlfriends {Amanda & Anna, hi girls!} decided to grab some drinks and head to the Art Gallery of Ontario for a little photography fix. The AGO had an exhibit of Edward Steichen, the man who started fashion photography for Vogue. All shot between the 1920's and '30's, these photos were stunning! What amazed me the most was to think that it wasn't digital, you didn't get instant results and couldn't just shoot away, you had to make that one shot THE shot...

"It didn't matter whether the sitter was a statesman, a writer, a poet, an actor, a prizefighter or a musician – they were all interesting."

flowers on a rainy day

It's raining in the city today. Sigh...This gauzy, dreamy dress is just the perfect pick-me-up. I have been searching for a dress just like this for so long! Imagine a casual day shopping complete with brunch or a late morning stroll on the beach outfitted with this dress. So darling!

a studded affair

I am not a gothic girl. I am not a death metal girl. But these studded pieces make rocker look chic. Paired with the sequins & pink, what's not to love?

morning grump

I am usually a morning person, but when the winter months start rolling in and it's a little dark still when I wake up, I have a good few minutes of that grumpy-want-to-stay-in-bed feeling...*Sigh

lazy lounging

I think I am due for a lazy weekend...just simply reading a magazine and sipping a coffee. Heaven!
Be Back tomorrow.

morning must

Happy weekend to all of you! The city is in full fall swing and it's beautiful! This morning, the boy and I headed to our usual breakfast spot for some eggs and hot coffee. YUM! But remember last weekend I mentioned the girls and I had our fall apple picking day? Well, we started it off with a special kind of breakfast delight! We headed to the Village Creperie in Waterloo before we went apple picking. Here are a few shots of this gorgeous little place. More to come from our perfect fall day!

Cute-tea

Pardon my pun, (or my friend Evan's...thanks dude!} but these tea bags and packaging are adorable! I must admit that with being a designer, well-designed products like this on the market sucker me in – hook, line, sinker.
