I just spotted these awesome sweaters on Etsy by Little Houses. How cool are they? I love the big collar idea for fall and the wooden buttons just add a little something special. Plus their names are fun, like Little Missy or La Fleur. One of these is going on my Christmas wish list...{hope my boy takes note!}

November's birthstone is topaz, and I can't think of a better colour to dress your home and decor with for fall. It's like being surrounded in sweet honey! I am even thinking it would be perfect to pair it with an oatmeal colour for an afternoon tea party palette.

The colour of the ever-so-coveted Hunter-Wellington's that I have been eyeing for a good month or two! *sigh. This deep olive-y green is super versatile. It can be matched with golds and blacks for a more elegant feel, or with soft creams and reds for a more rustic fall look. The possibilities are endless, but for now I would settle for the boots! {preferably in a size 6 please}

This spread in Vogue Spain is my kind of lingerie! With just the right touch of creams and browns, the soft lingerie mixed with the rustic-ness of the boots is so chic. What I wouldn't give to have a pair of buttery leather over-the-knee brown boots and chiffon panties! {along with perfectly tousled hair that stays in place! teehee}

Happy monday! WOW, did the weekend fly by fast, I can't believe it's the beginning of a new week. I am feeling somewhat lazy today and am looking forward to sitting at home tonight and doing some knitting. How did the apple picking go this weekend though? Spectacular! It was a perfect sunny day and all of us girls loaded up with apples. I have yet to upload all my photos, but stay tuned tomorrow for a fall filled post!

She looks happy that it's friday, and I love the fact that she is rockin the ‘cons...{converse, that is} Hope you all have a great day and follows you into tomorrow. I am off to go visit with the girls and enjoy some company, drinks, dresses and tuns more. It's a jam-packed couple of days!

Let me first start by saying Happy Friday! I really want to tell you all about my weekend plans, but I have something fun to share! For years I have wanted to learn how to knit. It started with watching both my grandmother's just whipping that yarn around the needles and making everything from my sister and my mittens every year for Christmas, or big warm, soft blankets. Myself, being left-handed, never thought it was possible and I just gave up on learning. My friend Quinn {hi hi!} is a big knitter, and got me thinking again about learning. So last night, being the awesome friend she is, taught me! We first headed to Romni Wools on Queen W. in Toronto. {gosh, that place is overwhelming if you don't have an action plan before you go!} I had decided I want to make a camel-coloured cozy scarf as my first attempt. So far it's going ok! I am definitely getting the hang of it. So stay tuned for the results...I'm too shy to show it in the beginning stages.

OH! More about my weekend later...apple picking tomorrow with the girls. Yay!

it's official

Drumroll please...

I finally finalized my logo for Short & Sweet Paperie! Yup, it's official and I couldn't be happier. It's simple and neat, just like my design style, and I can't wait to start using it on my handmade cards. Next step? I am working on my second blog dedicated to my design and paper inspiration. {much similar to this one, but more of a design flare, also stay tuned for a favourite font of the day..teehee. It could be fun!} Also hoping to have an etsy shop by early next year...*swoon

As soft and simple as I may seem, there's something in me that just loves the rocker punk look or a mix of soft, glam and a little edge. I love this girl's tattoos and the gold and black combo! Makes me want to listen to Nine inch nails ASAP. Haha!

Happy Turkey day! {for everyone in Canada} My parent's house is filled with the smell of apple pie, pumpkin pie and bread...Mmmm. I am definitely thankful I could visit and celebrate all the goodness that fall has to offer. What are you up to today?
